TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --
Build camaraderie with your Tinker community at Sports Day
on Sept. 30. It’s the perfect opportunity to come out and show your Team Tinker
spirit while enjoying free food, entertainment, prizes and sports.
Sports Day will host a variety of sports at various
locations. There will be volleyball, soccer, ultimate Frisbee, bowling,
golfing, corn hole and crud. Winners in each category will be awarded a trophy
and overall winners for the day will receive cash prizes. First place will
receive $250, second place will receive $150, and third place will receive
$100. It’s the ideal way to get active and enjoy healthy competition.
Although sports play a large part in the day, there are
still plenty of other things available for everyone. There will be free food at
lunch time and America’s Wing Band will be playing at the main stage at the ALS
Soccer Fields. Later that evening at the Tinker Club, there will be a free
comedy show featuring Ben Bailey from the television game show Cash Cab.
Sam’s Club, USAA, TFCU, Active Care, Jack in the Box,
Whole Foods, MWC Sports Nutrition, and Sprint are sponsoring this event. (No

The 72nd Air Base Wing’s staff agencies will use sports
