An Energy Expo was held Oct. 27 at Bldg. 3001’s Hollywood and Vine. More than a dozen companies, along with the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex and the 72nd Civil Engineering Directorate energy teams, showcased innovations to lower energy costs at Tinker Air Force Base. Two OC-ALC projects in partnership with Honeywell, for example, are projected to save enough energy to power approximately 10,000 homes. The complex’s ongoing Continuous Energy Improvement program aims to meet federal goals to reduce energy consumption and emissions between now and 2030. (Air Force photo by Kelly White)
