If you are looking for a unique gift for a good friend or someone special this is the place to go. Wanda Hodges, who has overseen this quaint little shop since it opened its doors in August 2000, is always ready to help her guests.

"I enjoy working at Gift Corner and it is an awesome job," Ms. Hodges said. "The people are so remarkable. It's a pleasure to visit with them when they come in. I am a people person and this is my cup of tea."

As she browsed, customer Kateri Peeler mentioned that the store has "a lot of interesting things here and they have a wide array of items."

The store celebrates special gift days including Administrative Professional Assistant Day, Bosses Day, Valentine's Day and Christmas. For bargain hunters, there are also discount tables located inside and outside of the shop.

Ms. Hodges said anyone who works on base is eligible to shop at the Gift Corner. Tinker Club members receive a 10 percent discount when they show their club card. In addition free gift wrapping is available. The shop is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Call 734-2396 for more information.
