Flu Shots
Tech. Sgt. Christine Boone, 72nd Medical Group immunization clinic, gives a flu shot to Bob Jeane, a retired Air Force technical sergeant, Wednesday. Flu shots are currently available for military members and TRICARE beneficiaries. Shots are given in the Immunization Clinic from 7 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. weekdays. The flu vaccine is not available on Tinker AFB for civilian employees. However, civilians are highly encouraged to receive the flu vaccine off base. Off-base options for the flu vaccine include a primary care physician’s office or local pharmacies. To find a location nearest you, visit: http://flushot.healthmap.org. (Air Force photo by Michael S.
