Drunk Driving sim

Wearing goggles that simulate driving at night with a high .25 blood alcohol content, Staff Sgt. Jason Baer, right, and Staff Sgt. Joshua Reitz, try unsuccessfully to navigate a course without taking out safety cones or weaving off course during Sept. 28 DUI prevention training. The specially equipped go-cart was controlled by Sgt. Jason Yingling of the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office who taught the class at the 34th Combat Communications Squadron compound at Tinker. Sergeant Yingling could set the vehicle for impaired mode that gave the driver slower response time and simulated overreacting on the road as an impaired driver would when drunk or even while phone texting.
