Kendall tour

Frank Kendall, the under secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics at the Pentagon, gets a feel of the corrosion faced by Tinker KC-135 mechanics, outlined by Theresa Farris, director of the 564th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. During his June 5 Tinker visit, Mr. Kendall toured maintenance areas in Bldgs. 9001 and 3001 and learned of the base’s successes and preparation for new workloads. Also touring Tinker with Mr. Kendall was Maj. Gen. John Cooper, director of Logistics, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support. (Air Force photo by Margo Wright)
