Tech. Sgt. David Santiago is an Airman Leadership School instructor who is close to graduating with a Community College of the Air Force degree, a personal goal and a job requirement he wishes he’d accomplished years ago. “The Air Force sets us up for an excellent road to success,” he said. “But we often just choose not to take advantage of it.” Deployments, family responsibilities and no ready access to computers were some reasons he delayed his education. Now the soon-to-be graduate and is taking his life-lessons learned into his ALS classroom where he pushes the importance of continuing education to his Airmen students.
