Tinker aircraft mechanic Freddie Smith, 564th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, inspects a KC-135 crew entry door with the tanker’s flying crew chief Staff Sgt. Carlos Mitchell, 22nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. The McConnell crew was here recently inspecting their jet in Tinker’s Team Spirit program that puts Tinker maintainers with the crew to quickly find and fix any maintenance concerns, speeding the process on returning the jet to the unit.
