5 years strong
Col. Michael Tannehill, 76th Aircraft Maintenance Group commander, helps recognize the fifth anniversary of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facility Nov. 17 in one of its hangars located across Tinker on Douglas Boulevard. Boy Scout Troop 1 of Edmond later raised a flag at the entrance of the Boeing property. “This five-year anniversary is a great time to reflect that over 100 aircraft transfers have come from Tinker to these hangars,” the commander said of the Boeing/Tinker depot facility partnership. “The MRO has made us better, faster and cheaper,” he added. “The facility has contributed greatly to our overall effectiveness in returning aircraft to the warfighter. This is a win/win for the Air Force and Navy. Thank you!” (Air Force photo by Margo Wright
