Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight member John Sharp explains a portable Wet Bulb Globe Temperature measuring device to 564th Aircraft Maintenance Group mechanics Jason Givens, left, and Pete Masura. The men work in the -135 kitting area of Bldg. 3705 where air conditioning is localized with large portable water drip cooling fans near their work stations and stepping outside the fan’s breeze can bring an instant sweat. The men start their days at 6:30 a.m. but with 23-plus days of triple-digit temperatures, mornings bring little relief. (Air Force photo by Margo Wright)
