B-52 Kitting
Material expeditors of the 565th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Eric Warlick, left, and Todd Goggans, build a B-52 #1 engine strut components kit in their Bldg. 2121 shop. Approximately 15 people work with mechanics to design user-friendly kits of custom-cut layers of foam where each component has a place. Parts don’t touch so no reaction by different metals and a quick glance tells if a part has been used and what needs to be replaced. (Air Force photo by Margo Wright)
