Step Up
The 72nd Medical Group’s Tech. Sgt. Drue Lynch was surprised with a promotion Feb. 7, which he was awarded through the Air Force Materiel Command’s Stripes for Exceptional Performance program. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center Commander Maj. Gen. David Gillett, left, presented the stripes to Sergeant Lynch along with Command Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Vegas, right. There are only a few STEP?promotions granted by the command each year. (Air Force photo by Dave Faytinger) “Drue has been a visible leader across the installation and is not only a highly-skilled technical expert in his career field, but he was also an extraordinary instructor at our Airman Leadership School. Sergeant Lynch’s hard work, dedication, professionalism and mentorship of our young Airmen are indeed keys to his success,” said 72nd Air Base Wing Commander Col. Bob LaBrutta (Air Force photo by Dave Faytinger)
