Angels among us
The 552nd Air Control Wing’s Staff Sgt. Van Stewart and his wife, Stephanie, made the decision to carry to term their son Vayden after he had been diagnosed with a terminal condition in the 22nd week of her pregnancy. After Vayden died, the Stewarts used the experience they went through during their loss, to start an organization that helps other mothers across the country who have made the decision to carry a child to term after a terminal diagnosis has been made. Both of the Stewarts say the three hours Vayden was alive, were some of the best of their lives. (Courtesy photo)
