Thanks for the support

U.S. Sen. James Inhofe, wearing tie, stopped at Tinker’s Vanwey Dining Facility Oct. 27 where Dale Rogers Training Center staff presented him with a plaque thanking him for his support of disabled workers at Tinker. Budget cuts threatened to close Vanwey Oct. 1 until the Air Force reversed its decision, keeping Vanwey and other base Airmen dining facilities open. With the senator were, from left; Jerry Weddington, Dale Rogers assistant director; Dale Rogers Vanwey employees Robert Morrision, Jenna Triplett and Derek Burton; and Maj. Gen. David Gillett, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center commander and host for Sen. Inhofe’s visit. (Air Force photo by Margo Wright)
