Learning Precision
Tinker Honor Guard lead trainer Staff Sgt. Lawrence Bach scrutinizes every movement of trainees during a two-week session where Airmen learn to render honors at funerals and how to present the colors. “It’s a lot to learn in a short time,” Sergeant Bach said. “Rifling is the hardest movement to learn. And they learn to maintain their bearing under extreme circumstances, four-feet of snow or heat,” he said. (Air Force photo by Margo Wright)
