Old faithfuls

A placard shows that boilers were built on site in 1942, just a year after America entered World War II with the attack on Pearl Harbor. The four boilers still provide steam for industrial processes and personal heat for workers. Though rarely needing such output, the boilers can crank out up to 80,000 pounds of steam an hour.
