448th farewell

Maj. Gen. Gary T. McCoy, Air Force Global Logistics Support Center commander, presented M. Scott Reynolds, 448th Supply Chain Management Wing director, with the Civilian Meritorious Service award March 24. The general also presented the Supply Chain Manager of the Year award to Mr. Reynolds during the ceremony. Before leaving Tinker to work at the Pentagon, Mr. Reynolds said, “I’m very excited about the culture we’ve built over the last two years as a wing. I’m very excited about the leadership and the work that has been done with this model organization that has won many awards — both individual and organizationally — and I expect that to continue. My hope is that the 1,000-day plan continues. And we are able to see that dramatic improvement to the supply chain that we all envisioned as we developed that plan as a team.” Mr. Reynolds was with the 448th Supply Chain Management Wing since July 2007.
