NDI reliability
In the Case Non-Destructive Inspection Shop, Bldg. 3001, qualification is important for technicians who find fine cracks in aircraft engine components using a trained eye and black light for help. Looking at a Probability of Detection training tool, NDI level III engineer Michael Makowicz discusses local training administration with Air Force NDI field liaison, Tech. Sgt. Jim Loncher. Sgt. Loncher will use that information as the Air Force NDI office works to improve training methods in the field labs and at the depots. (Air Force photo by Margo Wright)
