Police Week
Chief Master Sgt. James Foltz, command chief of the 552nd Air Control Wing, takes aim at the 72nd Security Forces Combat Arms Range with other chief master sergeants in a command competition shootout May 13 during Tinker’s recognition of National Police Week. Commanders, chief master sergeants and first sergeants battled for bragging rights with team awards going to the first sergeants for first, commanders for second and the chiefs taking third. Individual awards went to Chief Master Sgt. Jackie Green, 552nd Operations Group for first; Master Sgt. Joseph Brooks, 552nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron for second and third place going to Master Sgt. Troy Rausch, 349th Recruiting Squadron. Police Week began May 11 and included a reveille ceremony, weapons display and military working dog demonstration at the base exchange. A run, golf tournament, bowling tournament and a memorial/retreat ceremony honoring all fallen civilian and military law enforcement officers filled the week. (Air Force photo/Margo Wright)
