Cruise missile engine shop
Don Brown removes a start cartridge and oxygen bottle from an F107 cruise missile engine, disarming the engine before it will go for an overhaul. The 550th Commodities Maintenance Squadron Cruise Missile Engine Shop is unique to the Air Force. Many staff members having worked there since its beginning. Mr. Brown recalls being a customer during his active duty military career and says he never loses sight of the importance of the work he and coworkers do. (Air Force photos/Margo Wright)
