Oils

Oil runs through the heart of many vital machining tools at Tinker and that oil must be perfect to keep the machine running smoothly. John Cross tests oil samples with a visco-meter to ensure the part using the oil will not be impaired or break down due to heavy oil that can lead to a machine overheating, or too thin oil that isn’t providing moving parts with adequate protection.
