Time out for training

The 72nd Civil Engineer Group emergency management team and the Bio-engineering team recently held a joint training exercise where the first responders suited up in Level-A suits to handle a “suspicious white powder.” A first responder carefully handles the potentially harmful substance. The responders tested the air and took samples in the affected area. Airmen look on during a learning opportunity at the afternoon exercise which took place near Bldg. 3334. 16 members participated in the exercise. The teams train together so they will be better equipped to handle a response to a weapon of mass destruction. (Air Force photos/Dave Faytinger)
