Compact Radome Range

Tyler Johnson, range operator, is dwarfed in the 40-foot by 40-foot by 60-foot Compact Radome Range in Bldg. 3707. The updated, indoors facility partially replaces an older facility east of Bldg. 3001 and tests repaired aircraft radomes to ensure radar signals aren’t negatively affected by repairs. An April 23 ribbon cutting ceremony will celebrate the new facility. (Air Force photos by Dave Faytinger)
