Awarding welcome

The first order of business for Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center Commander Maj. Gen. P. David Gillett Jr. during his orientation briefing with the 76th Maintenance Wing, was to present them with an Air Force award Wednesday. Surrounded by wing, group and squadron commanders and staff, 76th Maintenance Wing Vice Director James Patterson accepts the award from General Gillett on behalf of the wing and commander, Brig. Gen. Bruce Litchfield. The Outstanding Unit Award credited the wing’s distinguished accomplishments from Jan. 1, 2006, through Dec. 31, 2007, repeatedly citing setting delivery records in support of the warfighter.
