A fashion show highlighting several cultures of Asian Pacific Americans was one of the events held last year for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. This May, several events are planned to celebrate the culture, such as movie night at the Tinker Theater tonight showing “Moana” at 7 p.m. and the annual APAH luncheon on May 17 at 11:15 a.m. at the Tinker Club. The 72nd Air Base Wing welcomed Col. Kenyon Bell as its new commander May 1 during a Change of Command Ceremony at the Tinker Club. Air Force Sustainment Center Commander Lt. Gen. Lee K. Levy II presided over the ceremony and Chief Master Sgt. Melissa Erb, the new 72ABW command chief, was the guidon bearer. Colonel Bell replaces Col. Stephanie Wilson as the 72nd ABW commander.
