Latte Lounge
Volunteers start renovations to turn a few Loop Hall dorm rooms and a day room into the Latte’ Lounge by fall. Clockwise from left are; Tom Taylor, Base Chapel volunteer; Chief Master Sgt. John Dunham, 552nd Maintenance Squadron; Senior Master Sgt. Rich Waters, 72nd Medical Operations Squadron; Master Sgt. Christina Bodden, 72nd Medical Group; Staff Sgt. Justin Underdown, 964th Airborne Air Control Squadron; and Bill Hanson, 552nd Air Control Wing Requirements Office. A Base Chapel-sponsored project, the lounge in Bldg. 5913 will offer Airmen a positive environment to meet on weekends for snacks and specialty coffees and coffee drinks. The lounge will have Wii, other digital games plus traditional games like pool and foosball. HD televisions, an internet café’ and special nights of music and karaoke are also planned. According to Chaplain (Capt.) Kelly Stahl, everything will be free for Airmen. Volunteers are still needed to continue with remodeling efforts. Please contact the Base Chapel, 734-2111 if interested.
