SAAM Run
Around 300 people lined up between the General Hill Conference Center and the 72nd Medical Group on a blustery, early morning last week for the Sexual Assault Awareness Month 5K run/2K walk. The run, part of the Health and Wellness Center’s themed monthly runs, was meant to reinforce awareness about sexual assault and prevention for the future. Top 3 male 5K finishers were: 1. John Gignac - 17:53 2. Quang Tran - 19:25 3. Deante Covington - 19:42 Top 3 Female 5K finishers were: 1. Christine Wright - 24:48 2. Kathy Kirg - 24:49 3. Chelsea Gallardo - 26:01 Top 3 2K finishers were: 1. Jonathan Tillman - 12:22 2. David Boswell - 13:04 3. Michael Ciser - 13:05 1st Place Wheelchair Division: 1. David Satre - 34:26
