Base officials offer tips to prevent wildfires

From left, Doug Bynum, the acting team lead with 72nd Air Base Wing Civil Engineering Services Contracts and program management specialist; Scott Bloxham, Tinker Fire and Emergency Services assistant chief for Fire Prevention; Brian Farris, assistant chief of Operations with Tinker Fire and Emergency Services; and John Krupovage, the national resource manager with the 72nd CE, discuss the fire breaks around Tinker’s urban interface as a preventative measure for wildfires spreading onto base. People need to be aware of the close-to-home reality of wildfires and know how to protect themselves, their families and their homes from damage. (Air Force photo by Kelly White)
