Congressman Jim Bridenstine, right, received a briefing on the Block 40/45 upgrades to the E-3 AWACS from Lt. Col. Tony Kleiger, 965th Airborne Air Control Squadron, left, and Gordon Fitzgerald, 552nd Air Control Wing plans, center. The upgrades are performed by the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex at Tinker. The congressman, who represents Oklahoma’s first district in the U.S. House of Representatives, visited Tinker AFB Jan. 23 and received briefings from the Air Force Sustainment Center, the 552nd Air Control Wing, and the Navy’s Strategic Communications Wing ONE.
