CSAF Visits 72nd SFS Armory

Airman 1st Class Nadia Miller, a member of the 72nd Security Forces Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, gives Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Mark A. Welsh a tour of the squadron’s armory on April 10. The armory, which recently underwent a self-improvement project saving the Air Force an estimated $373 thousand per year, was one of many locations General Welsh and his wife, Betty, visited as part of the couple’s Tinker visit. Airman Miller was also one of three 72nd SFS members, who had the distinction of getting their new senior airman stripes from General Welsh for being promoted below the zone a day earlier.
