Resurfacing project to reduce Gott Gate capacity
Gott Gate (Gate 34), by the 72nd Medical Group clinic, will operate at a reduced capacity from June 22 to July 19 due to a road resurfacing project. During this time, it will maintain 24 hour operations but will be reduced to single lane operation at times. This will likely cause longer than normal wait times for vehicles during peak periods of inbound traffic (6 to 8 a.m.). Officials recommend employees use other gates such as Vance Gate (Gate 40) or Piazza Gate (Gate 31) to avoid extended wait times. The Commercial Gate (Gate 33) will extend truck search hours to 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, truck traffic entering from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. will be processed at the Gott Gate and may cause additional delays.(Courtesy photo/Released)
