2015 Feds Feed Families Food Drive

Tech. Sgt. Dondrel Scott, 72nd Security Forces Squadron, helps Doug Miesse, a retired major from the 3rd Combat Communications Squadron, unload pallets of donated food bags for the 2015 Feds Feed Families Food Drive Campaign on Aug. 5 at the Mid-Del Food Pantry. This year’s campaign has been extended to run until Oct. 2. Mike Anderson, director of the Mid-Del Food Pantry, which all local donations from the campaign are donated to, said the most needed items are peanut butter and boxed dinner mixes and also cash donations, so they may buy perishable items such as margarine, milk and meat. Donation boxes around the base are located at the Tinker Commissary, Tinker Youth Center, Bldg. 460 (72nd Air Base Wing Headquarters), Bldg. 3001 flagpole entrance and the Balfour Beatty Community Center. For more information, contact Sergeant Scott at 734-2900 or dondrel.scott@us.af.mil. After Sept. 10, Tech. Sgt. Dwight Veon will be the base point of contact for the 2015 F4D Campaign.
