PHOTO: Food for the holidays
Last week the Tinker chapter of Federally Employed Women made a donation of 103.6 pounds of non-perishable food items to the Tinker Food Pantry. Gia Easley, with the Airman and Family Readiness Center, right, accepted the donation from Beverly Jones, FEW president, center, and Macy Garcia, a University of Central Oklahoma student volunteer. The FEW recently sponsored a “Caring & Sharing for the Holidays” community service project collecting food and blankets. The blankets collected will be donated to veterans at the VA hospital. For more information regarding FEW, contact Ms. Jones at beverly.jones@us.af.mil or visit FEW.org. (Air Force photo by Kelly White/Released)
