Photo: Running for a cause

Runners take off at the start of the Halloween After Party 5K Fun Run/Walk on Nov. 6 at the Tinker Club. The free run garnered $316 in donations to be presented to the Tinker Youth Center as part of the 2015 Combined Federal Campaign. The CFC theme this year is “Love Your Community to the Moon and Back.” Several organizations contributed to make the run a success, including the Tinker Chapel, which donated T-shirts for the participants, and Network 5/6, donating water and Gatorade to the runners.
