Strategic Communications Wing ONE Senior Enlisted Leader, Command Master Chief Bob Holland, ended his 30 year Naval career with a retirement ceremony highlighting his honorable service at Tinker Air Force Base. Master Chief Holland was surrounded by family, friends and co-workers who all gathered to celebrate his time in and to give him a proper send-off. Master Chief Holland became the SCW-ONE CMC Nov. 12, 2014, replacing Master Chief Cyndi Patterson. He will be replaced by Master Chief Jeffrey Bottoms, the former CMC of Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron THREE. Master Chief Bottoms said Master Chief Holland “took over the wing during a very troubled time and used his time to steer it back in the right direction.” Master Chief Bottoms also hopes to continue the improvements they made to CPO 365’s Phase II. “I want to continue what we have done to help make the next generation of chiefs for our Navy,” he said. “I also want to improve morale throughout TACAMO and strengthen the bond between the wing and squadrons.” (Navy photo by Petty Officer 1st Class Cody Boyd/Released)
