Paint rounds make mark in training
Simunitions, non-lethal simulated ammunition, are used for more realistic training, such as for shooting fundamentals, force on force and battle drills. The 72nd Security Forces Squadron will use the 5.56mm cartridges, left, for their M4 rifles and the 9mm cartridges for their M9 Berettas, as well as conversion barrels for both.
