Silent Witnesses
The 72nd Medical Group Family Advocacy office displayed their “Silent Witnesses” throughout the 72nd Medical Group Clinic recently. The cardboard cutouts of real-life homicide victims of domestic violence bare their heartbreaking stories of their lives and deaths. The Silent Witness National Initiative started in one state and quickly spread to the other 49 to promote education and awareness to domestic violence by having the displays “silently” tell communities to “Remember My Story. Remember My Name.” Family Advocacy can be reached at 582-6604 for reporting or treatment of domestic issues. (Air Force photo by Kelly White)
