Outstanding performers

The 76th Propulsion Maintenance Group’s F-22 Aircraft Mounted Nozzle Sidewall back shop team, partnered with Boeing, recently completed the last phase of a depot activation project in support of the F-22 Raptor aircraft by stud welding of the AMNS liner. Four previous phases (blocks 1-4) were completed in a phased manner from 2015 to 2016. At a small Jan. 26 recognition event, Boeing awarded certificates and coins to outstanding performers from PMXG that specifically worked on the last phase of the activation. Holding certificates, from left, are Justin Sneed, PMXG process engineer; William Stambaugh, PMXG machinist; Daniel Dire, PMXG welder; Matthew Beauford, PMXG quality assurance; and Richard Ridley, Boeing F-22 liaison. Chris Brooks, far left, was also recognized as the F-22, C-5 depot activation lead. (Air Force photo by Kelly White)
