Emergency Response Exercise
Members of the 72nd Medical Group worked side-by-side with Samaritan EMS during the emergency response exercise April 6 to help Master Sgt. Bob Begay, with the 513th Maintenance Squadron. Moulage victims were sorted into four categories (minor, delayed, immediate and morgue) based on injury severity in the triage area. Medics gave immediate care to the victims and filled out individual triage tags, which shows such information as personal information about the victim, types of injuries, vital signs and mental state. The triage tags help inform EMS or other medical professionals about a victim’s state when they enter their care. (Air Force photo by Kelly White)
