Airman 1st Class Wesley Fayson, with the 72nd Force Support Squadron, takes a huge leap during “Catch the Rabbit, one of the 10 exercise stations at the Wildcatter PT on May 31. Foregoing the usual Wildcatter 5K run, the 72nd Air Base Wing thought of a more inclusive PT, opting for the round robin-type PT. Participants did the assigned exercise at each of the 10 stations for two minutes, then switched to the next station. Stations featured planks, sit-ups, bear walks and squat jumps, to name a few. Levy II officiated over the prestigious ceremony in which fewer than one percent of career officers have the honor of being promoted to brigadier general or higher. Gen. Johnson is the commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex and serves a 9,800 personnel team responsible for $3 billion in revenue. The major function of the OC-ALC is programmed depot maintenance on the KC-135 Stratotanker, B-1B Lancer, B-52 Stratofortress, E-3 Sentry and Navy E-6B Mercury as well as maintenance, repair and overhaul of a multitude of engines and components for the Air Force, Navy and foreign military sales and the development and sustainment of a diverse portfolio of mission critical software. Brig. Gen. Tom Miller gives his remarks as the newest commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex June 16. Air Force Sustainment Center Commander Lt. Gen. Lee K. Levy II presided over the change of command ceremony in which Maj. Gen. Mark K. Johnson relinquished command to Miller, who was previously the vice commander of the AFSC. Miller will lead a 9,800 personnel team responsible for $3 billion in revenue. The complex performs programmed depot maintenance on the KC-135, B-1B, B-52, E-3 and Navy E-6 aircraft, as well as maintenance, repair and overhaul of F100, F101, F107, F108, F110, F117, F118, F119, F135, F137 and TF33 engines for the Air Force, Navy and foreign military sales. Miller will also be responsible for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of Air Force and Navy aircraft components and the development and sustainment of a portfolio of mission critical software.
