DLA commander
Lt. Col. James Malec, Jr. assumed command of Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Oklahoma City from outgoing commander Col. Kenton Ruthardt during a change of command ceremony June 23. Col. Malec will serve as the DLA face to the customer for all DLA organizations at Tinker and will be responsible for the daily operations of all retail-level supply, storage and distribution support to the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex, which includes over 600,000 customer orders annually.
