Diamond Sharp Airman

Airman 1st Class Adam Khrais, with the 552nd Maintenance Group, is presented his Diamond Sharp Award by the 15th Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Rodney McKinley and his first sergeant, Master Sgt. Paul Barentine.Airman 1st Class Adam Khrais hails from Jordan and is bilingual, with English being his second language. He was raised in Jordan and immigrated to the United States as a child. As a young adult, he heard the call to serve his new country and joined the Air Force in 2017. Khrais felt the urge to act when he found out a unit member (who he didn’t even know) was heading to Texas because his family had lost most of their home and possessions from the recent hurricane. He singlehandedly raised over $300 to assist the member in his travels to Texas to begin recovery. He also went beyond the call and personally purchased 20 cases of water and loaded them in the member’s truck for delivery to hurricane victims in Texas.
