Air Force Materiel Command inspectors, along with Air Force Sustainment Center and 72nd Air Base Wing Inspector General’s offices were on-hand last week, Oct. 4, for an exercise in the deployment processing area of Bldg. 260. Members of the 72nd ABW simulated the process from checking in their C-Bags containing their mission-oriented protective posture gear to inspecting their A-Bags containing their ABU’s, PT gear and hygiene items, for example. After that, the simulated deployers listened to a pre-deployment briefing and then went through the Air Passenger Terminal to check their mobility folders with medical, legal, finance, eligibility, chaplain, services, orders and then passenger manifesting.
