Airman 1st Class Casey Stephenson informed a group on the role of Airfield Management during the tour of the 72nd Operations Support Squadron Nov. 2. Stephenson explains the enormity of Tinker Air Force Base and the intersecting runways that make up the middle of the installation. The Airfield is manned 24/7/365 and is charged with the responsibility of controlling the flow of aircraft, fuel trucks and maintainers, communicating with the air traffic control tower and accommodating diverts.
