AWACS and the Wedgetail fly together

Despite similar missions, the radar differences become more obvious as the E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System joins the E-7 Wedgetail Airborne Warning Early Control aircraft at Royal Australian Air Force Base Williamtown in September 2019. This visit allowed for joint-mission flying sorties and integration among allies and similar platforms. (U.S. Air Force photo /2nd Lt. Ashlyn K. Paulson)
