CSD Shop

After a constant speed drive has passed leak checks and testing, it moves on to receive a final coat of paint (shown here, by Chuck Pollard, 552nd Commodities Maintenance Squadron), which will ready the part for sale. The CSD Shop is unique to the Air Force, with a total crew of 73 individuals working various aspects of its overhaul process, which has recently undergone a significant process improvement by reducing their flow days and saving millions in material costs.
