Deanne Baker works as a detailed inspector for the 552nd Commodities Maintenance Squadron. In the tear-down portion of the Constant Speed Drive Shop's overhaul process flow, Baker breaks down the components, sends them through a wash and clean line, and then will inspect them for corrosion, galling and chipped parts. The CSD Shop has significantly reduced their flow days by determining which CSDs will undergo an evaluated overhaul or a more extensive overhaul depending on part failures in the evaluation.
