AFSC Spotlight

Joey Chapa, a metallizing equipment operator in the 76th Propulsion Maintenance Group, is one of the key operators in the shop responsible for the thermal spraying of vital propulsion components. He is following in the footsteps of his parents, who both retired from careers on base. Chapa, who is from Newalla, Oklahoma, has worked in the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex for over two years. When not at work, he enjoys spending time hunting, fishing and working on carpentry projects.
