Tinker Frontlines: Meet Pam Cowns
Pam Cowns serves as Tinker’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Coordinator. She has worked in the SAPR office for five years, but has also spent time as a program manager for the F101 engine, worked with the C21 program and served in the U.S. Army for 28 years, retiring as a first sergeant. Cowns is originally from Mustang, Oklahoma, but calls Midwest City her home. She loves spending time with her children and five grandchildren. Cowns like helping people. "I like being able to see how someone goes from being a victim to a survivor and then flat-out thriving in life,” she said. “It’s very rewarding to see that.” (U.S. Air Force photo/Kelly White)
