Future heroes in training: Tinker hosts first junior firefighter camp
Tinker’s very first Junior Firefighter Camp gave seven future heroes a hands-on look at what it takes to serve in the fire service. Throughout the week, campers learned lifesaving skills like CPR and first aid, practiced search and rescue techniques, mastered ropes and knots, and even trained with real fire hoses and ladder operations. Here’s a few of our favorite shots from a week full of unforgettable experiences at Fire Station 1. (U.S. Air Force photo by Courtney Landsberger)
